Appliances can be large, heavy and expensive. You probably don't have the special tools or expertise needed to fix them in a crisis. If you can spare a few thousand dollars without batting an eyelash for new appliances should they break tomorrow, don't buy a warranty. But if you're like most of us, protect yourself by purchasing inexpensive extended warranties when you buy a new product and save yourself big money in the long run.

- Manual defrost -25 C all-freezer made in Europe with digital controls and slide-out storage baskets
- Unit ships in three boxes for customer to install the StackRack on the bottom refrigerator/freezer and place and secure the other unit on top
- Digital microprocessor for easy and precise temperature management, with all controls externally located for added convenience
- Rear-mounted 3/8" access port in both units allows users to install their own monitoring equipment
- Audible alarm sounds if the interior temperature rises or falls out of set range
- Alarms include continuous NIST calibrated display of the current interior and high/low temperature, and can be switched from Celsius to Fahrenheit at the touch of a button
- Thermometer probe is encased in a glycol-filled bottle and stored in a fixed box on the center shelf. This is the ideal way to produce temperature readings closest to stored contents, as recommended by the CDC and VFC's guidelines
